In 2014, when I signed up for an essential oils class, I had no idea what the little bottles of plant juice could do. I was looking for natural products to use with my children, not realizing I needed an overhaul. Even though I wasn’t taking great care of myself, I wanted the best for my family. Sound familiar? Being a busy mom had taken its toll; I was tired, anxious and often below the wellness line.
Enter Young Living oils. One sniff and I was captivated! Not only did they smell more potent than any oils I’d ever used, they lifted my mood and had hundreds of uses. It was easy to make bath salts, sugar scrub, and other household products, so I ordered a starter kit the next day. One by one, I ditched the toxic products I had been buying at the store, and soon I was feeling better than I had in years.
Feeling good led to many positive lifestyle shifts. I became my own best doctor and took control of my family’s wellness instead of continuing to live with a “pill for every ill” mindset. I started doing more yoga and learned that my fears are normal. Now, I’m able to transform them into a positive mindset.
